Flourish BX is a pickup ordering app for our restaurant at 4035 Laconia Ave. We ask for the least we can: your name so we know whose order to call out, and your phone number so staff can reach you about an order. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone.
Each piece of information has one job:
We do not use any of it for advertising, profiling, or tracking you across other apps and websites.
Nobody. We do not sell your personal information, we do not rent it, and we do not share it with advertisers, data brokers, analytics companies, or any other third party. The only place your order goes is our own kitchen register.
This app does not take payment. You order here and you pay at the counter when you collect, by card or cash. Your order is sent to our register unpaid and settles in the shop, the same way it would if you had walked in and ordered at the till.
There is no card form anywhere in this app, and no card number is ever entered into it, seen by it or stored by it. Card payments you make at the counter are handled by Clover, our point-of-sale provider, which is PCI-DSS compliant — and that happens at the register, not in the app.
Your name, phone number, order history and points are stored on your own device so the app works when you open it, and in our Clover point-of-sale account so staff can look up your order and your points at the counter. We keep them for as long as you have an account with us.
You can delete your account from inside the app at any time: Rewards → Delete account. You will be asked to confirm, and told what goes before you do.
Deleting removes your saved name and phone number, your order history in the app, and your points balance including any rewards you have not used. Unspent points are forfeited and cannot be restored. It happens on your device, immediately, and works even with no internet connection.
What it does not remove are the restaurant’s own records of orders you have already placed. Those are the shop’s receipts for food it cooked and sold, kept as its business and tax records, in the same way a paper receipt from the counter would be. They are not part of your app account and deleting the account does not change them. To ask about those, call the restaurant on (347) 859-9413.
Deleting the app itself also clears everything it stored on your device.
If you allow it, the app can notify you when your order is ready. That notification is scheduled on your own device — nothing is sent to us or to anyone else, and no notification token or device identifier is collected. Declining costs you nothing: the order status is on screen the whole time either way, and you can change your mind in your phone’s settings.
The app uses no cookies, no analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs and no third-party trackers of any kind.
Flourish BX is a food ordering app for the general public. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us their information, call us and we will remove it.
If this policy changes, we will update this page and change the effective date at the top. Meaningful changes will also be announced in the app.
